About Andrew Watkins

Andrew Watkins started his career with Northwestern Mutual as a financial representative in April 2006, while a full-time college student at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Upon Graduation, Andrew took a job with Merrill Lynch's private client group in Atlanta where he learned the complex nature of asset management.  After two years, Andrew decided to return to North Carolina and rejoin the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.  Throughout his career, he has consistently set the standard for excellence, as evidenced by his numerous company awards. 

In additon to helping his clients achieve financial security, Andrew is passionate about leadership and recruiting. In May, 2010, Andrew was appointed as College Unit Director for the Chapel Hill, NC office of Northwestern Mutual. In this capacity, Andrew is responsible for the recruitment, growth, and development of college students as they learn more about a career in financial services.  In his short tenure at Northwestern Mutual he has personally recruited several college interns, full-time financial representatives, in addition to coaching and mentoring countless others across the agency.

Andrew specializes in working with intelligent, responsible, and successful professionals, physicians, professors, dentists, attorneys, and business owners. His greatest professional successes can be measured by the impact he has had and continues to have on his clients’ lives and financial affairs.  He is a sought after speaker and has given many presentations regarding financial security planning to physician groups across the state.
